1. Purpose
This policy explains how advertising, sponsored content, Phrase Wall sponsorships, partner cards, discount codes and business offers may appear on Chatsifieds.com.
2. Sponsored Phrase Wall model
Phrase Wall lets businesses sponsor useful English phrases or categories. Sponsored placements may appear on phrase pages, category pages, partner cards, business pages or related learning content.
The purpose is to support free practical English learning while giving suitable local businesses a clear way to reach learners, students and newcomers.
3. Standard pricing
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, standard public package examples are:
- Starter Phrase — $49 per month.
- Phrase Partner — $99 per month.
- Category Sponsor — $299 per month.
- Founding Partner — $999 for 6 months.
- Optional setup fee — from $199 one-off, where agreed before work starts.
Prices may be changed for new purchases or renewed sponsorships. Confirmed existing sponsorships continue for the confirmed period unless changed by written agreement.
4. What sponsorship includes
A sponsorship may include some or all of the following, depending on the package confirmed in writing: sponsor name, logo, description, website link, Google Business Profile link, booking link, offer text, discount code, category mention, phrase card, “Own this Phrase” badge, reporting summary or social mention.
5. Clear sponsored content
We aim to make sponsored or partner content clear to users through wording such as “Sponsored”, “Supported by”, “Partner”, “Own this Phrase”, “Student offer” or similar labels where appropriate.
6. Accuracy and Australian Consumer Law
Businesses must ensure all sponsor content, prices, discounts, claims, offer terms, availability statements, images and links are accurate, current, lawful and not misleading.
Student offers should clearly state important conditions, including expiry dates, eligibility, locations, redemption method, minimum spend, exclusions and whether the offer is limited or subject to availability.
7. No guaranteed outcomes
Sponsored placements do not guarantee sales, visits, leads, clicks, search rankings, social engagement, student redemptions or business results unless expressly agreed in writing.
8. Review, refusal and removal
We may reject, edit, pause or remove advertising or sponsored content if it appears misleading, unsafe, unsuitable for learners, low quality, outdated, unlawful, inconsistent with our learning purpose, or likely to damage user trust.
9. Restricted categories
We may restrict or refuse sponsorships involving unsafe, exploitative, adult, discriminatory, illegal, high-risk or learner-unsuitable products or services.
10. Partner responsibility for third-party offers
A business partner is responsible for honouring its own offer and handling customer service for products or services it supplies. Chatsifieds.com is not the supplier of third-party products or services unless we clearly state otherwise.
