Chatsifieds provides free Australian-English learning content, Phrase Wall, Search English, My Learning and Practice Lab features. Businesses may enquire about clearly labelled Phrase Wall sponsorships and student-friendly offers. The current website does not automatically charge a business when it submits an enquiry.
These policies explain website use, privacy, cookies and local storage, sponsored content, business service terms, refunds, copyright, acceptable use and student safety. Mandatory rights under Australian law always prevail over inconsistent wording in these policies.
For learners and students
- Most public learning content is free and does not require a Chatsifieds account.
- My Learning and saved-phrase progress are stored in the learner's own browser unless a feature clearly says otherwise.
- Certificate names entered into the current certificate feature are used in the browser to create the printable certificate and are not transmitted to Chatsifieds by that certificate feature.
- Sponsored or partner content must be clearly identified and should not be confused with independent learning content.
- Third-party businesses are responsible for the products, services and offers they supply.
For business partners
Submitting a Phrase Wall or business enquiry does not itself create a paid contract or start automatic recurring billing. Before a paid arrangement starts, Chatsifieds will confirm the agreed scope, duration, total price payable and applicable GST treatment in writing.
“Own a Phrase” is a sponsorship name. It does not transfer copyright, trade mark rights or legal ownership of ordinary words, expressions or language. Any exclusivity exists only if it is expressly agreed in writing for a defined Chatsifieds placement, category and period.

Which document controls?
Mandatory law cannot be excluded by these documents. For a paid business service, a later written proposal, order confirmation or agreement may add to these policies and will control the commercial details to the extent it expressly says so. The public website pricing pages are invitations to enquire, not automatic acceptance or billing pages.
